Well the results are in and Hoooooooooooly Shiiiiittttt do we have some incompetence running through Berkley Town Hall and Election operations

Upon the conclusion of today’s recount, Silent Bob Longton and baby mama Renee Gagne improved their vote total from 750 to 962, and increase of 212 votes but a vote change of 28.2%. You would naturally expect a handful of disputed ballots with write-ins but a gap that large can only be attributed to gross incompetence and negligence on the part of Berkley election officials. That number is unheard of in any American election – it’s something you’d be more likely to find in the 3rd World.

The Berkley Board of Selectmen have scheduled a meeting for Friday May 29th at 1PM to discuss the recount. Any part of that discussion that does not demand for the immediate resignation of anyone who counted ballots should result in the Board of Selectmen also being recalled immediately for failure to act ensure election integrity for the Town. This is an embarrassment on every level in the Town Clerk’s office.
