Dighton firefighter and …retired… Berkley Fire Chief Scott Fournier left a few messes behind on his way out the door. One of them has made its way to the Superior Court system. Fournier, and the Town of Berkley because of Fournier are being sued for workplace discrimination.

As we can see from this week’s BOS agenda, the Board of Selectmen need to clean up yet another mess from another member of the Berkley Mafia that has moved on in disgrace.

While it’s not known what the final outcome or costs will be, Berkley will end up shouldering the bill for …retired… Chief Fournier, whether through attorney fees, a direct payout that could reach well into 6 figures or through increased insurance premiums to be paid for decades.

But why you ask? With superior human resource management skills and expertise like these excerpts found below show, how could …retired… Chief Fournier cause such a mess?

I guess some people just don’t know good management and sue like crybabies, at least that’s the spin being put out by the …retired…Chief’s declining circle of influence. Looking forward to the outcome.
