Fresh off being laughed off the internet for their attempt to force a bankrupt town into paying for a special election to fill a term for 4 months, Silent Bob Longton and his baby mama, Taunton resident Renee Gagne have come up with a new way to waste taxpayer money – Let’s force a recount!
New for the May 27th Board of Selectmen meeting is a discussion of a recount petition for the May 9th election. This will require paying town clerks from other towns and cities to come in and conduct a count. No word on cost yet but any dollar spent on ego driven politics is a dollar wasted.
Not a great start to your career of not being a Selectman, Bob.
